I read, with interest, the President’s post on Truth Social – https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116351998782539414 .

It would appear that the President is planning on engaging in war crimes, the deliberate destruction of civilian infrastructure. Are these the sort of actions you expect military personnel to order or to engage in? Will your subcommittee be investigating these actions, if they do occur, and holding accountable the military officers involved?

As a lawyer, do you hold that “I was only following orders” is a legitimate justification of war crimes?
