Fright: Fragment
I had a scare when I saw my Boston Terrier chewing on this fragment of a larger bone. I started envisioning big vet bills before I took it away from him.

Oddly for Colorado, we don’t have any pine trees or junipers on the property. However we do have lichens on rocks and yucca plants which tend to stay green year round. It was a very cold morning so I took these photos with my phone and used Google photos for a little enhancement.

I had a hard time coming up with a photo for the word “Broken” then looked up in the kitchen and realized that this faux brickwork, complete with cobweb, that has been falling apart in our kitchen for years qualifies.

I’ve joined a Flickr group called The 2017 Weekly Alphabet Challenge. The first theme of 2017 is “Artistic.” This is a photo I took with the Sunset preset on my Pentax camera. I rested the camera on the table.
My husband saw these solar power fairy lights in mason jars and just had to have them.

Planner Hack
A few weeks ago I ordered some inserts for my new Websters Pages Traveler’s Notebook. I have a bad habit of not putting my cards away in a consistent place, so I have labeled blank artist trading cards on each side with the title of the card that belongs there. I have also labeled the long pockets that come with the insert for such things as washi tape (wrapped on an old gift card), post-it notes, and other loose items.
