Junk Journal January

I bound this junk journal using elastic cord (similar to a Traveler’s Notebook) so I can slip signatures in and out. The one signature I have completed so far is pamphlet bound. I used an Essential Die from Tonic Studios for the bookplate.

Brown Fengle

The background is walnut ink crystal sprinkled on mixed media paper then spritzed with water. Some of the crystals didn’t dissolve completely so there are some bumps. This fengle tangle was drawn with micron pens and colored with sakura jelly roll pens.
