Above the Cloud

After several cold and grumpy days, we are due for some warmer, drier weather. This is our first colorful sunrise in several days, and we can see a cloud in the valley below us.

We have rain forecast for this afternoon, so we had streaky clouds before the sun became visible.

I hope everyone who celebrates it had a pleasant Thanksgiving yesterday. Ours was lovely, visiting family in Westminster, Colorado, though the thought that yesterday would have been my mother’s 81st birthday was always at the back of my mind.
