
I saw this display on my walk yesterday. Two years ago the same place put the dragon on the porch roof. I am surprised that the inflatables have survived so well considering we live in an area that has high winds and intense sunlight.

Yesterday evening, we had the most intense afternoon thunderstorm that we have had since we moved here. At one point, we were receiving close to five inches an hour of rain. (Fortunately, not for a whole hour.) The swales around the house did their job, but when I went out this morning, I found that the contents of one of the swales had washed down over the pavement, which is the first time this has happened since we moved here. It took us about ten minutes to put the rocks back.
Gullfoss Falls throws up a tremendous amount of mist.
