Yesterday, I took a walk with a friend in “Monument Valley Park”:http://www.springsgov.com/Page.asp?NavID=945. I had heard about it for years, but had never been there before.

On our bicycle ride yesterday evening, these three deer were part of a larger herd that watched us from the side of the road.

These purple flowers with the yellow centers are very common this year.

The deciduous trees are starting to turn color now. In a week or so, the hills will be covered with gold and bronze.
