I’ve added zinnias to the list of things that can survive even my attempts at gardening. The zinnias have survived being planted in a bed that was water-logged so much this summer that I was surprised anything could survive. They also survived several hail storms and a few pounding rains.
We were surprised by how much was still blooming at the Denver Botanic Garden in September. I hope I can remember that I want to plant some celosia next spring.
Lightning (the Sheltie) and Orion (the Miniature Schnauzer) suspect that I have some hot dog jerky in my hand.
The Botanic Garden was having a display called Jurassic Gardens. One of my friends thought they looked too fake, but I liked them.
I had a beautiful day walking around the Denver Botanical Garden with two friends.
