I’m not sure this actually counts as alpenglow, since the sun was over the horizon when I took the photo.

After our weirdly warm autumn, the weather has reverted to mostly normal winter weather for the area. Earlier this week we had a cold snap and some minor precipitation. I took this photo before the cloud cover broke and the sun burned off all the snow.
