I am gradually reorganizing some files on our website, and discovered these photos of a morning walk that I took not long after to got my first digital camera. I remember that I kept losing the battery charge because it was so cold, and I was afraid I had a defective battery until I got the camera back in the house.
When I was younger and shaving, for a while I kept a battery-powered electric razor in the car so I could shave on the beltway between Oxon Hill and College Park. That worked until the first week of winter! Batteries just do not like being cold.
