Orion just discovered how to make one of his toys squeak. I am so proud, in a “why did we give Junior a drum set” way.

Hi Elaine! Congrats on adding a new little critter to your family 🙂 He appears to be an “idjit” but oh, so cute! Your posts about him are bring back lots of good memories of JJ when we first got him – puppies are just so precious.
Last week when we had fresh snow, JJ got his very hairy paws quite soaked running around the yard. Then he dug himself a nice comfy depression in the dry dirt under the back deck, where he apparently spent most the rest of the day licking the mud off his paws. By the time I got home from work he was feeling and acting like a colicked horse. He spent the night at the vet’s to the turn of almost $600 (I feel the vet took gross advantage of the situation) after gravel showed up in his intestines and his poor tummy was inflated to 3 times its normal size. He felt much better by morning, and recovered completely in a couple of days. But he’ll be 11 years old in two weeks, and just isn’t a puppy anymore.
Is Rion a “purebred” little schnauzer, or a cross of some kind? He sure is cute.
Enjoy! and Happy Holidays 🙂
Becky
Wait until he discovers he can bark! What a cutie.
