Here I am rushing home to see the new Ken Burns <em>The National Parks<\/em> film, not even trying to get the picture of the sunrise from <a href=\"http:\/\/ecobirder.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/yellowstones-fishing-bridge.html\"><em>Fishing Bridge<\/em><\/a> since the sun wasn\u2019t going to be rising at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yell\/planyourvisit\/hlake.htm\"><em>Fishing Bridge<\/em><\/a> \u2013 thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inciweb.org\/incident\/1901\/\">Arnica<\/a> \u2013 and when I get home at 6:30, I found out I needn\u2019t have rushed. See, I figured that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/masterpiece\/mystery\/index.html\"><em>Mystery<\/em><\/a> comes on at 9 PM, so that 2-hour National Parks episode would have to start at 7. And I made it home with half an hour to spare. Then I find out that they aren\u2019t showing <em>Mystery <\/em>tonight and that they were showing Burns\u2019 film at 8, repeating at 10. I am such a ninny. Even if the sun wasn\u2019t going to rise this morning, I may have been able to get some pictures of early morning in the <a href=\"http:\/\/mms.nps.gov\/yell\/features\/canyontour\/index.htm\"><em>Grand Canyon<\/em><\/a>. But Arnica probably was going to bollix that too.<\/p>\n<p>I hope to have some pictures of my vacation on-line shortly. I downloaded them to Elaine\u2019s laptop and haven\u2019t retrieved them yet. (What did you do on your vacation? I spent 5 days traipsing around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yell\/naturescience\/caldera-rim.htm\">in the<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yell\/naturescience\/caldera.htm\">caldera <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yellowstone_Caldera\">of the world\u2019s largest<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yell\/naturescience\/volcanoqa.htm\">active volcano<\/a>!
